I like them. In the old days, Stan used to have everyone say EVERYTHING aloud. It seemed much more natural once the thought baloons became common. I hope they come back.

I like though Balloons- they add a lot to the story, and it makes more sense than the hero talking aloud to himself. I don't even waste my time with new comics anymore, and haven't for over a decade

i like balloons...day preetee! I carry a sign around with a grease pencil to write out my thoughts and hold them up for others to read...such as I'm doing now in this case I'm typing them...neat!
